Renewal of Civil Partnership Vows
Understanding what is important to you as a couple is what matters most in creating your unique ceremony, whether it be a wedding celebration or a renewal of vows. There are no restrictions on where and how your ceremony is conducted and it can include a range of different elements that represent you as a couple. This may include handfastings, sand ceremonies, tree planting, humour, religious content or completely alternative ideas that you have. Remember, it can be held somewhere unique to you, it does not have to be in a licensed venue, perhaps outdoors or even in your family home.
Here is an idea of some of the things you might like to include;
Vows - writing your own, using pre scripted words, making a promise or revisiting those made many years ago is beautiful way to declare your love.
Exchanging Rings - this can be through a ring blessing that can involve your guests. You may even want to exchange a gift.
Readings - This can be a really fun way to include others that are special to you in your ceremony. Friends or relatives may want to read a poem or reading from a special book. Don't worry though, I can help you find these.
Symbolism - I am trained in delivering a range of symbolic actions including hand-fastings, sand ceremonies, tree plantings, unity candles and even jumping the broom. However I am open to all suggestions to ensure the ceremomy is bespoke to you.

If you decide that these ideas inspire you, please call or email me. We can discuss your requirements and arrange a face to face meeting where we can talk in greater depth. I understand that a busy lifestyle can be an issue so video calls can also be arranged. Whatever works for you.
From our initial meeting I will create your own personal biography detailing your love story and unique ceremony. You will of course be able to read and change this to make sure it is just right for you.
Once the biography is complete a visit to the venue (if not completed on our initial meeting) will be made, I will then be able to ensure that the space and equipment are just right as well as becoming familiar with the staff that I might need to work with to ensure your day is perfect.
After your ceremony you will be left with a copy of your script to treasure.
